Terms of Service

The plain-English version of what you agree to when you use Vinarium.

Last updated 13 May 2026

1. Acceptance

By creating an account, signing in, or otherwise using Vinarium, you agree to these Terms of Service and to the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. Cookies and analytics — implied consent on sign-in

Vinarium uses essential first-party cookies (and localStorage) to keep you signed in, remember UI preferences, and run privacy-friendly first-party analytics. When you sign in or create an account, you accept this use of cookies and storage on the same terms as if you had clicked Accept on the cookie banner. You can still withdraw consent later by clearing site data in your browser or by signing out and declining the banner.

3. The service

Vinarium helps you catalogue, organise, and write notes about wine. Features and pricing may change. We try to give notice of material changes, but we do not promise the service will always be available or bug-free.

4. Your account

You are responsible for what happens under your account. Keep your sign-in email address current and don't share account access. Tell us promptly if you suspect misuse.

5. Acceptable use

Don't use Vinarium to break the law, infringe someone else's rights, harass others, or attack the service. Personal and household use is free within the limits described on the Pricing page; commercial use requires a separate agreement.

6. Your content

Tasting notes, photos, lists, and other content you enter remain yours. You grant Vinarium a limited licence to store, process, and display that content so we can run the service for you. We don't sell it to third parties.

7. AI features

Some features (URL extraction, sommelier chat, vintage enrichment) call third-party AI providers. By using these features, you accept that the relevant prompt content may be transmitted to those providers as described in the Privacy Policy.

8. Warranties and liability

Vinarium is provided on an as-is basis. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties and limit our liability to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms over time. Continued use of Vinarium after a change means you accept the updated Terms. We will surface significant changes in-app.
